Manchester has a lot of negatives, with the entrenched football rivalries being the icing on a cake made of hoodies, uunemployment and a ridiculous amount of estuary English student. But if it has a redeeming feature
– and it has many – it’s the amount of gigs that are put on. Of course, for someone looking to book their own nights it can be an intimidating arena to step into, but it’s a worthy compromise, as on any given night you’re pretty much guarenteed to be able to find something you’ll enjoy.
