Blogs are alright. Gigs are better. Uneven Blonde have been putting the best new bands on in Sheffield for – well, it might as well be forever. And just when you thought that they couldn’t do anything more, they’re managed to convince Bulmers to give them a bit of coin so that they can throw a festival showcasing all those hot acts that blogs write about but they actually put on, for real people to go and see. It’s a two dayer, with Howler headlining the 18th, whilst the 19th has so many highlights it’d be churlish to go on about it. So to get excited about the festival, here’s a couple of tracks to listen to. Best to stick it on whilst you get your travel plans sorted – don’t worry about a ticket, because it’s free in.
