Somehow missed this going online last week – strange, given I’ve been waiting since forever to hear this new version of the track. They play The Bunker in Salford tonight, and people are already saying that it is going to be one of those occasions that people will say that they were at. That sentence was difficult on purpose, just as getting to the Bunker is. See you there.
What more can I say? One of the best parties in Manchester, thrown by some of the best people in Manchester, in aid of a good cause, with bands from all over the place.

My albums of the year so far are that Polica LP and Grimes’ masterpiece. It looks like there is going to be a third joining the party, so to highlight my excitement/sheer joy, here are the two newest Purity Ring tracks set to be on their 4AD debut, recorded for posterity.
Vaguely euphoric, consistently excellent and about a thousand times better than anything else you’re likely to hear this year. Taken from their new EP Vitamin Easy, out June 4 on Melodic. Get one before they’re gone http://melodic.co.uk/michaelagrammar/
