Man oh man am I happy about this. honestly, Radio 1 haven’t been this high in my estimations since the Forward Russia documentary a couple of years ago, when all I wore was band t-shirts and a frussia gig was the best thing that could ever happen. Happy times. Anway, you may have heard that Internet Forever had their Maida Vale Radio 1 session played yesterday, which was brilliant. The band were back to their original line up sadly, but they still managed to make it work even without alcxxxesxs or whatever his blog name is. Which is sad, as he left me a comment once. completely normal!
Anyway, Heartbeeps and Laura Wolf did a wonderful job of playing their songs, which is good seeing as that is their day job not their day job. As well as doing a version of a Laura Wolf solo song Happy New Year, they did Pages of Books and a chilling version of Break Bones. Wonderful. Those three are available to download below, if you want. Seriously, Break Bones is awesome, especially this version. I’d put their other song up, but that’s their single, Cover the Walls, which you should buy, for sure. Find Cover the Walls HERE

thanks for biggin us up and that. it was all 3 of us doing the session though, just me and chris did the interview though.
dood, u think this is our day jobs?!?!?! for real!? lol if IF was my day job i'd be homeless and hungry. probs dead actually. me and craig are both teachers and chris works in admin!
I've only just got into the real world Laura, i don't know anything about pay or anything or how people work.
And a TEACHER! Primary or Secondary?
PRIMARY! tho i am only doing supply at the moment cos being a real teacher was too much like hard work for me (tho i did it for 2 years and loved it).
do you want to be a teacher!?!?
oh man, I want to be a nice primary school teacher. Though I've got a slightly skewed pperception of it as I've not really done any of it, only classroom experience or whatever, plus plus plus, having just finished a 2 week voluntary stint in a school, i left with a box of rose, a card and some wine gums. I didn't have the heart to tell the children I don't eat gelatine, though.
applying for PGCE for next academic year.
writing this/volunteering/other things in the mean time.
