The first movie was one of the worst pieces of cinema I have ever had the misfortune to watch. It’s slow, plodding, has little or no tension, aa cardboard female lead, very little depth and is based solely around a stunningly attractive male lead. But people love it and it’s done well, so i should stop hating, really. The sequel, however, looks set to have one of the best soundtracks ever specially recorded. First, Thom Yorke revealed that he was going to be recording a track for the film, and now you can watch Grizzly Bear play their song for the album with Beach house, who they are on tour with at the minute:
After actually reading the tracklisting, Thom Yorke and Grizzly Bear and one or two others aside, it’s full of terrible bands. have a look at the complete listing below:
Death Cab for Cutie: “Meet Me on the Equinox”
Band of Skulls: “Friends”
Thom Yorke: “Hearing Damage”
Lykke Li: “Possibility”
The Killers: “A White Demon Love Song”
Anya Marina: “Satellite Heart”
Muse: “I Belong to You (New Moon Remix)”
Bon Iver and St. Vincent: “Rosyln”
Black Rebel Motorcycle Club: “Done All Wrong”
Hurricane Bells: “Monsters”
Sea Wolf: “The Violet Hour”
OK Go: “Shooting the Moon”
Grizzly Bear: “Slow Life” [ft. Beach House’s Victoria Legrand]

Alexandre Desplat: “New Moon (The Meadow)”
The kind of people who liked Twilight are probably thhe kind of people who like The Killers, so it’s probably a good match for them. bad match for the rest of mankind, though
