They’re one of the bands that pretty much started it all – mainstays of LA’s legendary The Smell alongside names such as Health and Abe Vigoda, No Age are back with a new EP released today. Despite the fact that they’re being going for about eighteen times as long as the usual pitchfork boom-and-bust fodder, they’re still getting good reviews, still have a massive following and, most importantly, still sound excellent.
The EP is called Losing Feeling, and the tracklisting is below. It’s only being released on Vinyl and through the usual digital outlets.
LOSING FEELING EP
1. Losing Feeling
3. Aim at the Airport
4. You’re a Target
Anyway, onto the cut and thrust of this post – later this month, No Age are going to be touring Europe, taking their wares to 5 cities over the space of a week and probably putting on one of the best shows you’re ever likely to see. A year or so ago they supported Los Campesinos! on the Shred Yr Face tour, and they brought the house down then, despite the fact that most of the audience were part of the International Tweexcore Underground. If you’ve got the cance to see them, please do. You won’t regret it. On their two UK dates, they’re even being supported by The Drums, which is about the best double header that you’re ever likely to come across. You don’t want to have to look back at this in a year and cry over other people’s reviews of it, like I’ll be doing, as I cannot afford to go.
