It’s hardly going to be Andy Gray and Martin Tyler talking up how Greg Weeks a ‘top, top player’ or how this is a ‘must win gig’ for Espers, but that doesn’t make these three instores anyless exciting. In fact, the chance to see the three acts that are making up this edition of the Shred Yr Face tour might be classed as even more impressive viewing than Sky Sport’s offerings, depending on your stance on football. Myself? Well, seeing as these are all happening in London, I think I’ll be in bed, watching 22 men kick a ball around a field for some goals, but if you’re in the area and want to see Espers, Cave Singers and Woods, you can get your chance here:
Sunday 8th November//
WOODS // Pure Groove, 6-7 West Smithfield, EC1A – 3pm
THE CAVE SINGERS // Beyond Retro, 110-112 Cheshire Street, E2 – 5pm
ESPERS // Rough Trade East, Old Truman Brewery, 91 Brick Lane, London, E1- 6.30pm
And, if you don’t know already, you can see the bands on tour on the following dates:
