Though I was sceptical at first, I’ve got to admit that Múm are an amazing band in so many ways. What’s heartening is the band’s constant experimentation – and the debut record by band member Ólöf Arnalds is a testament to that. It’s pure folk, and it’s absolutely beautiful. It cam out elsewhere two or three years ago, but it’s finally getting a release on British shores and The Line of Best Fit asked me to review it for them.

If you’re a fan of Vashti Bunyan, then I’d highly recommend that you try and buy this. It’s an absolutely stunning work, despite the fact that it’s in her native tongue and I couldn’t understand a word of what she was saying. RCRD LBL have got ‘Klara’ from the album to download.
