CRYSTAL CASTLES – CELESTICA (CLOCKWORK REMIX)
Having announced a UK tour commencing this October, we can only hope there’s some kind of remix set before hand. With the bucketloads of homebrew (and more professional) efforts that are coming in and doing such a delicious job ofdeconstructing the bands work, it’d be the only thing that could make it any more of an event to look forward to.

WILD NOTHING – THE WITCHING HOUR
Completely and utterly sublime. if you’ve not got NME’s Radar blog in your bookmarks already, rectify that immediately, as they give away beauties like this. Another Captured Tracks band, but that’s a badge that should be worn with honour. Taken from the album ‘Gemini’, it mixes hazy distance with brilliantly stitled harmonies, managing to be both delicate and brash in the same breath.

HOUNDS OF HATE – TUMBLE DOWN SLOW
It was put up yesterday, but this is equally to bring The Line of Best Fit’s excellent redesign to your attention. When not having some of the most exciting new writers in the country prattling on about music, they’re giving away gems like this from a band that recently played alongside Gold Panda. A superb track in fitting with the rest of the excellent ‘song of the day’ feature.
