A two piece singing about the possibility of having sex with a woman isn’t the most adventurous of sounds, but it was enough to keep the fire in the hearts of Death from Above 1979 fans burning suring the years of their absence. Thanks to the glut of pro meat-free material propagated online, their name is almost as ungoogleable as a Witch House act, but by the looks of things they’re planning on keeping their presence pretty slender anyway, with one Bandcamp track being their token effort. Still, it tells you all you need to know about the band – that they’re quite happy to admit when they’re wanting to get you undressed being the most obvious. However, you can also sense the genres that they’ve imbibed, dressing up their ear for a simple indie riff with a dusting of garage punk. It sounds like they’re having fun, either way.
