BEST COAST – FAR AWAY
After leaving the amazing Pocahaunted, Bethany Cosentino’s career has been on the up. At the minute, she’s touring around Europe following a few years of putting out some of the best lo-fi music that the web has ever played host too. Continuing the trend, she’s giving away new track ‘Far Away’, and you should do your utmost to see her if you get the chance, too.

BRADFORD COX – MICROMIX

Another link stolen from pitchfork from another person who’s playing Manchester’s Deaf Institt=ute this week. Taking some time out from his work with Deerhunter as well as his solo project, Atlas Sound, he’s crafted a mix of some of his favourite new tracks and given it away on his blog. Darlings of the critics and hipsters alike, don’t miss Deerhunter’s ongoing tour either. Tracklisting on Pitchfork link below:

THE DRUMS – FOREVER AND EVER, AMEX (RAFFERTIE REMIX)
The mainstream may not have followed to the extent that was predicted as of yet, but The Drums themselves probably don’t mind. Their debut EP Summertime has been played ad infinium by anyone who’s given it a chance and the album looks set to be the same, with Raffertie being given free rein over this track from the forthcoming longplayer.

THE CONCRETES – GOOD EVENING
It’s been almost three years since their last release, but The Concretes are starting on the comeback trail. The sound might’ve evolved from the purely twee Concretes of old, but it’s still recognisably the same beautiful beast underneath. New album WYWH is due out later in the year, and if this track is anything to go by, it’s going to be a cracker.

10,000 VOLT GHOST – PARDON
After their blockbuster remix of the Crystal Castles track last week, 10,000 Volt Ghost is giving away a completely new track entitled Pardon. Exciting stuff, definitely one to watch out for, grab it below.
